Terms of Service

By creating an account you agree to these terms. Gauteng Golden Fairway Route is a marketplace: we connect golfers, caddies, brands, clubs and accommodation hosts. We are not the employer of caddies and not the operator of golf courses or properties listed on the platform.

You must be 18 or older, provide accurate information and keep your login secure. One account per person. Caddie and club accounts may be asked to complete document verification before receiving offers or payouts.

Golfers send an offer to a specific caddie. Payment is taken upfront into escrow when the offer is sent and shown as held in your wallet.

If the caddie accepts, funds stay held until the round is complete, then release to the caddie less the platform fee.

If the caddie declines or the offer expires (48 hours), the held amount is refunded to your wallet automatically.

Cancelling within 4 hours of tee-off may forfeit up to 50% of the fee to the caddie for lost work.

League entry fees are non-refundable once a week's round has started. Prize pools are calculated from paid entries and published in the app.

Scores must be attested by a marker and are recalculated on our servers. Rounds flagged as anomalous may be held for review, and confirmed false scoring results in forfeiture of prizes, division demotion or account suspension.

The wallet is a record of amounts owed to or by you; it is not a bank account and earns no interest. Payout requests are reviewed and paid to the bank details you supply. You are responsible for your own tax obligations.

Bookings for accommodation, tours and packages are contracts between you and the host or operator. Deposits shown at checkout secure the booking; the balance and cancellation rules of the host apply.

Caddies who represent a brand act as independent sales representatives. Commission is payable on leads or sales confirmed by the brand. Brands are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the products they list.

No harassment, discrimination, off-platform payment circumvention, fake listings, scraping or attempts to interfere with the platform's security. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these rules.

The platform is provided on an as-is basis. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising on a golf course or at accommodation booked through the platform.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
